Is your toddler already uninterested in swings and slides in your neighborhood park? Who wouldn’t get tired of swinging and sliding for the 284th time, right? Whether it's a city, county, state, or national park, here are easy activities and ideas that will make your next park visit a memorable one!

  1. Have a Picnic

Grab your picnic basket, prepare some quick snacks and go spend your afternoon at your nearby park! Remember to bring a blanket as well so you have somewhere to sit with your family!

  1. Fly a Kite

Feel the breeze of the wind by flying a kite! A spacious area is required to have serious kiting fun, so a park is the best place to do this!

Your kids will be able to explore the science behind flying a kite and learn about speed, air, lift, and drag. Running through a large open area to launch a kite into the wind is something everyone should try at least once in their life.

  1. Take a Hike

Local, state, and national parks offer a lot of hiking opportunities, and some are even kid-friendly. Preparing for a hike can be an enjoyable and healthy family activity, too. Some parks even have trails for those with mobility limitations or special needs.

Just a heads up! Always check the website of the park you’re planning to visit to learn about the sceneries, special features, the length and challenge rating of the trails, and whether or not pets are welcome.

  1. Play “I Spy”

Who says you can only play I Spy while on a road trip? Even on your way to the park, playing I Spy will surely be a fun game for the whole family! It will also teach your kids about words and object association that is very helpful once they have stepped into school.

  1. Volunteer

Every local and state park has its own community cleanup drive to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the park. Your family can help keep the trails clean, take care of the local pond or assist during community event days.

Your kid will learn how important it is to keep their surroundings healthy and will also witness the fun and bonding formed when working together in the community and as a family.

Got twins to bring to the park?

Now, some parents with twins may feel overwhelmed when bringing their toddlers in the park, especially parents of two or more, but there is a solution for that. If you have twins or kids that are born close together, this double umbrella stroller will also offer double the safety and double the convenience!

This stroller is equipped with a set of 12 wheels measuring 6” each which offers excellent control and smoothness on any terrain. Each wheel is attached to a swiveling axle that ensures ease of control when turning. The axles are equipped with a latch that locks the wheels in place to let the stroller stay in a single area.

The wheels are made of plastic spokes surrounded by ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), a lightweight foam that offers great durability. The foam structure also offers excellent shock absorption even on rough terrains. You will never have to worry about waking up your sleeping kids while strolling even on a bumpy sidewalk.

Both the seats are perfectly reclined at an angle to encourage proper posture and a comfortable position. For added safety, both of the seats are equipped with adjustable straps with a quick-release buckle for convenience. The reclining seats are made from waterproof fabric for easy cleanup and an effective way to prevent odor build-up.

With two children that need to be taken care of, your baby essential bag could be filled with cluttered items and mess, making it harder to look for items you needed most on a whim. Thankfully, this stroller is equipped with two mesh bags at the handles which are handy when storing commonly used baby items such as toys, feeding bottles, and diapers.

When strolling on a sunny day, prevent nasty sunburns and eye irritation from the harmful sun rays with the built-in overhead canopies. They are adjustable so they can be tilted down completely for your kids to enjoy the sky view when the canopy is not needed.

Weighing just 15 lbs, traveling with this stroller has never been easier. They are also designed with an easy-fold system for effortless storage. Although lightweight, this stroller is built to last for a lifetime. The metal components are made from industry-grade aluminum coated with scratch-resistant paint for added durability and rust prevention.
